Patrol is the largest Division of the Police Department with its primary responsibility of responding to calls for service from the community. These can range from neighborhood disputes, alarms, medical calls, domestic violence incidents, thefts, traffic accidents, burglaries in progress, and death investigations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoListParagraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Officers of the Patrol Division are also expected to provide proactive services such as traffic enforcement, crime detection and suppression, business, school, park, and property checks, and initiating contacts with community members to further the department\u2019s commitment community policing.
